2012 Nissan Almera VL 1.5(A)

Got this car in Nov 2012.....

 

The followings shall be a compilation of all the DIYs.....

 

Started with DIY soundproofing for all door and fenders using STP Gold dampening mat.....

First off shall be the front and rear doors.....

 

Next up shall be the front and rear fenders.....

Including the rear boot cover.....

Insulated the spare tyre well also.....

Not forgetting the front bonnet insulation cover....

Also sprayed all mudguards with undercarriage rubberized coating for additional protection.....

After DIY soundproofing, applied carbon fiber sticker to all door pillars.....

Then DIY changed the OEM horn.....

HID is a must for brighter and safer night driving..... used H4 4300k with slim ballast and replaced all T10 bulbs to LEDs.....

DIY added LEDs DRL.....

DIY replaced reverse bulbs to LEDs.....

And some enhancement to the tail lamp cluster.....

DIY replace the third brake lights to LEDs.....

Moving on to the interior..... DIY added footwell illumination.....

DIY changed the dome lights to LEDs.....

The empty starter switch slot being put to good use..... gate remote control.....

The OEM rims have been swapped to using Momo Strike replica shodded with Yokohama C Drive 2 205/55/16.....

Got this small little car in May 2012 for my sons.....

Ordered a pair of side mirror covers with LED indicators and DIY the installation.....

Next DIY is the side mirror with embedded LEDs.....

DIY Carbon Fiber Stickers to all door pillars.....

DIY Install OEM Rear Spoiler..... spot the rear lamp cluster enhancement.....

The Engine Bay..... DIY Added Bonnet Insulation.....

The Engine Bay..... DIY added 3 point grounding.....

DIY install HID H4 4300k for headlamp and replace all T10 bulbs (parking and rear number plate illumination) with LEDs.....

DIY Install LED Keyhole Illumination.....

DIY Glove Box Illumination with LED strip.....

DIY Rear Boot Illumination with LED Strip.....

DIY Interior Dome Light..... brighter illumination.....

DIY Footwell Illumination with LED Strip.....

DIY Replace Third Brake Light to LED.....

DIY Added LED Brake Lights to the bumper reflector.....

DIY Road Tax Stainless Steel Stand.....

DIY Install Center Arm Rest.....

DIY Install Aluminium Pedal.....

Changed the OEM rims to refurbished Myvi rims.....

Got this mini SUV in October 2011.....

The followings shall be a compilation of all the DIYs.....

Started off with DIY soundproof for all doors and fenders using Soundblok Suppression Pads and Flexmat..... sorry, no photos captured for this DIY.....

Ordered a pair of side mirror covers with LED indicators and DIY the installation.....

Next DIY is the side mirror with embedded LEDs..... more safety feature for our Malaysian roads.....

DIY Carbon Fiber Stickers to all door pillars.....

DIY install rear top spoiler..... IMPUL replica.....

Close up view..... spot the Livina emblem in the third brake light housing.....

DIY rear lamp cluster enhancement..... added additional illumination (parking and brake lamp) at the bottom of the cluster.....

Carbon fiber inserts..... hehe.....

Engine Bay..... added OEM Bonnet Insulator which was not provided as a standard item.....

Engine Bay..... added OEM Engine Cover which was also not provided.....

The Headlamp..... DIY Install HID H4 4300k HiLo Magnetic for brighter road ahead..... all T10 bulbs have been replaced with LEDs (parking and number plate).....

DIY Road Tax Stainless Steel Stand..... no more peeling required..... yahoo.....

More Carbon Fiber Inserts..... hehe.....

DIY Replaced the Aircond Dials with those found in more expensive models..... haiz.....

DIY Install Aircond/Cabin Filter at the blower which was also not provided.....

DIY Install Aftermarket Center Armrest..... extra storage and great arm support during those long journeys.....

DIY Glove Compartment Illumination..... with LED Strip.....

DIY Replace Interior Dome light to LEDs..... sorry, no photo captured.....

DIY Rear Boot Illumination..... with LED Strip..... sorry, no photo captured.....

DIY Install Footwell Illumination and IMPUL Stainless Steel Scuff Plate with Blue LED Illumination..... not forgeting the alluminium pedals.....

Upgraded the OEM rims using Wedssport SA-50M replica shodded with Continental CC5 205/55/16 rubbers.....

Last but not least, this is my favourite decal.....
